How to Write TikTok Short Video Scripts for Brands

Blog Banner for Website Content (1)

TikTok is everywhere in 2025, especially in Myanmar, where it beats Facebook with tons of users. If you want your brand to shine, you need an awesome TikTok video—and it all starts with a great script. I’ve been doing this for over six years, creating hits like Yathasone Awba with 19 million views and 12 Yarthi Awba with 15 million views. Let me share my secrets to write a TikTok script that grabs attention and works for your brand!

Why TikTok Scripts Are a Big Deal

TikTok videos are super short—15 to 60 seconds. People scroll fast, so your script has to hook them right away. I learned this with Yathasone Awba. My script mixed funny farming ideas with local style, and it got 19 million views! A strong script turns viewers into fans—and fans can become your customers.

My 5 Steps to Write a TikTok Script

Here’s my process, built from my own experience:

  1. Start with a Big Hook
You’ve got 3 seconds to stop the scroll. Use a fun question or surprise. For 12 Yarthi Awba, I kicked off with, “Can you cook this in 10 seconds?”—and it hit 15 million views. Try something like, “Want to double your sales?” for your brand.
  2. Mix in Fun and Culture
Add humor or local vibes to connect. In Yathasone Awba, I used silly farmer dances—people loved it, and I gained 120,000 followers. For your brand, throw in a funny twist or a local story that fits your product.
  3. Keep It Short and Simple
TikTok is fast, so your script should be too. Stick to one clear idea. For Complete and Wyte, I showed the product, gave a quick tip, and ended strong—reaching 75% of Myanmar TikTok users. Keep it under 100 words.
  4. End with a Call to Action
Tell viewers what to do next. I always say, “Follow for more!” or “Try it today!” In 12 Yarthi Awba, this grew my fanbase to 100,000. Add something like, “Shop now” or “Check our link” for your brand.
  5. Test and Fix It
Don’t just post—test your script first. My first Yathasone Awba video flopped, but I added music and jokes, and it soared to 19 million views. Try a few versions and pick the winner.

Extra Tips from My Work

  • Use Local Voices: For Complete and Wyte, I teamed up with Myanmar influencers. Their real accents made it click with viewers.
  • Add Music: Catchy tunes keep people watching—I used this trick for my 15M-view videos.
  • Think Mobile: Most TikTok users (99.3% in Myanmar) watch on phones, so make text big and easy to read.

A Quick Script Example for Your Brand

Imagine you sell drinks. Here’s a 30-second script:

  • 0-3 sec: “Thirsty? Look here!” (Hook)
  • 4-15 sec: “This drink cools you fast—taste the chill! (Show drink, add a funny sip)”
  • 16-25 sec: “Perfect for Myanmar heat!” (Local vibe)
  • 26-30 sec: “Get yours now—link below!” (Call to action)

Test it out, and watch the views roll in!
